November 11, 2020LEADERSHIP LESSONS FROM DLE VETERANS
November 11, 2020What do you need to start doing or stop doing to achieve more efficiency in your daily schedule? Let time management consultant Ben O’Shaughnessy guide you at the Nov. 13 Culture Chat, “Recharge Your Battery: Understand Your Energy and How It Relates to Your Time Management,” starting at Noon ET.
This special, two-part program introduces Ben’s ready-to-apply model for making decisions about tasks to delegate, automate and eliminate to help you multiply your time.
Friday’s one-hour program begins with a 15-minute presentation by Ben about factors that impede effective time management and strategies for managing them. Next, facilitated breakout groups will form to share calendar challenges and scheduling remedies. Participants will leave the program with action items to improve their time management throughout the month, plus a buddy group for staying connected and accountable.
DLE Community Members Sheryl Owen, Kaled Rocha, Krystle Blake and Marcus Coleman have designed the program to deliver learning and networking dividends. By debuting a two-part program, the planning group aims to keep participants engaged as the holiday season sets in, with follow-up articles and reminders for buddy groups to check on members’ progress. Krystle explains, “With end-of-year professional goals and the joys and stresses of the holiday season, it is especially important to manage your schedule and maximize your productivity during this time of year. This is a highly requested topic by DLE members, and we’re excited for Ben to bring his expertise to our discussion.”
Part 2 of the program—scheduled for Dec. 11 at noon ET—will examine how to channel time efficiencies into energy management that promote mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
