- Stand tall today. Every hour, stand tall for 60 seconds. How our body acts really does have an impact on our emotions and self-perceptions. Play into the belief by standing up tall and marvel at the changes in your self-confidence alone. Standing tall can build your communication muscle!
- Put your emphasis on different words today. Pick a sentence to read. Then pick three words in that sentence that you could emphasize. Read the sentence three times, each time stressing only one of those three words. Do this with five more sentences before the end of the day. Try it with one of the sentences in your response to today’s topic. Switching the words you emphasize can build your communication muscle!
- Ratio your 3-to-1 today. Identify three positives for the day and one thing you would like to work on. This exercise is designed to increase your feelings of confidence and has been used to help high-performing athletes. Being intentional about your outlook on your day can build your communication muscle!
