With pandemic protocols in place, the DLE hosted its first indoor, in-person event of 2021 on Dec. 8 at Zucchini’s Restaurant in the Berkshires. The gathering connected DLE newcomers with the DLE Advisory Board and program leaders, providing them with the opportunity to learn about the DLE’s operations, offerings and people and to build new relationships.

The event earned high fives for generating much needed fun during COVID’s draining times. Attendees recommended repeating the practice periodically–holding small gatherings in 2022 to create connections, exchange ideas and share laughs.

Here’s a look at the evening.
