“Be in a magazine” has been on my life vision board for over a decade, so seeing my featured story in A-list Nation Magazine in May 2021 truly feels like a dream come true.
Earlier this year, I was introduced to a resource from other entrepreneurs. Essentially this is a listserv of reporters looking for those to feature in stories. These reporters’ needs are widespread, but I have made it a point to write to every reporter if they are looking for a story that is even just loosely connected to mine.
I craft a pitch for each opportunity, and I was lucky to get a response from this magazine.
My article focuses on what it’s like to run a woman-owned business and how that has influenced my leadership, as well as what Bake it Till You Make it stands for!
