Frequently, you hear people use the phrase “New Year, New Me” during these early weeks of January. While I’m all about starting new goals and wiping the slate clean, I’m also a firm believer in the idea that not everything has to stay in the previous year. For example, Jeeb’s Monthly Mix. I’ve been doing this since 2018, and it’s that one habit that I just can’t help but continue month after month, year after year.
For January 2021, I wanted to start the year off on a fun note (because we all need a little fun these days), so this batch of songs is meant to be a mix of dancey excitement as well as calmer laid-back moments. Like this coming year, we’re sure to experience ups and downs, big moments and moments of rest, and twists and turns we won’t see coming from a mile away.
