Giving trees. Toy collections. Winter coat drives. All were mainstay ways to give back during the holidays.

But COVID-19 has changed the charity landscape dramatically. What can you do in your community this 2020 holiday season to help others in need?

Liana Toscanini, Founder and Executive Director of the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires, provides 4 Ways to Find the Right Giving or Volunteer Opportunity at the Nov. 20 DLE Breakfast Club at 7:00 am ET.

This interactive session will help you:

      • determine your give-back passion
      • identify opportunities and outlets
      • decide what you can offer this holiday season
      • reach out and propose your virtual giving opportunity.
Regardless of your geographic location, Liana will provide links and tips for connecting with non-profit organizations and causes in need of support.

Advance registration is required by clicking here. There is no charge to attend any DLE Breakfast Club program, thanks to the underwriting of Dulye & Co.

Liana is steeped in nonprofit leadership. She founded the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires in 2016 after many years of volunteering and a nine-year stint as the Development and Marketing Director for the Berkshire-based Community Access to the Arts.

She is the recipient of Berkshire Magazine’s prestigious “Berkshire 25” Award, a 1Berkshire Trendsetter Award and an Unsung Heroine Award from the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. She is also a board member of the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network. Her corporate background has proven as useful in the Berkshires as it did in New York City, where she worked in marketing and management in a variety of industries including publishing, cosmetics, fashion and home textiles.
